Moses admitted that his coaching job with Liquid was a failure

Jason “moses” O’Toole, who has been Liquid's coach since the middle of last year, gave an interview and said that he does not plan to engage in coaching in the future.

Talking to journalist Richard Lewis, Moses noted that while working at Liquid, he tried to find different approaches to solving problems that arose in the team in order to maintain a high level of play. He also tried to create the right mindset so that the players understood how to work towards a common goal. At the same time, O‘Toole admits that he lacked knowledge about the game and the ability to find contact with esports players, given their mentality. As a result, the need to deeply understand the strategic features of Counter Strike and other intricacies of professional gaming proved to be too much of a task for him.

Moses believes that he essentially failed with Liquid, which he led from August 2020 to May 2021. During this period, the team did not win a single victory at significant eSports events. O’Toole realized that the position of coach was not for him, and did not intend to return to this occupation in the near future. Now he is again acting as an analyst and commentator for eSports events, collaborating with major tournament organizer ESL.
