2025 has been quite eventful for CS2 – new collections and cases, long-awaited and controversial updates, market changes. We offer a look at a selection of skins that attracted the most player attention in 2025 – bright newcomers, unusual designs, and potentially interesting positions for collectors.
AWP Printstream
One of the most popular newcomers of 2025 was undoubtedly AWP Printstream. As part of the Fever Case added in spring, the long-awaited addition to JTPNZ's minimalist collection was released. The skin is quite expensive, but you can always start collecting the Printstream collection with cheaper options.
AWP LongDog
AWP LongDog is another sniper rifle skin that appeared in the April update. It doesn't look as striking as Printstream, but it has its own admirers. The skin is part of the Train 2025 collection, which was added along with Train's return to the active map rotation.
M4A4 Hellish
M4A4 Hellish is another vibrant skin that became the calling card of the updated Train collection. The weapon's surface is covered with a pattern of orange and yellow flames that contrast strikingly against the black background.
XM1014 Solitude
XM1014 Solitude belongs to limited availability skins – it can be obtained through the Armory Pass. The weapon's side surfaces and barrel feature a picturesque mountain landscape. The artwork placement heavily depends on the pattern index, so the skin's price can vary quite noticeably even with similar float values.
AK-47 Nouveau Rouge
New interesting designs for the AK-47 weren't left out either. For example, AK-47 Nouveau Rouge from the Radiant collection is painted in white and chocolate brown with golden art nouveau botanical ornaments – an excellent choice for those wanting to demonstrate refined taste.
AK-47 Searing Rage
Fans of more aggressive designs appreciated AK-47 Searing Rage from the Fever Case. This graffiti-style skin's design has many small details – flames, a gaping toothy maw, colorful inscriptions covering the entire stock and body. Due to the artwork's features, it looks best at close range.
Skeleton Knife Marble Fade
Additionally, the Fever Case became the first case in a long time to feature new knives in Chroma finishes. Now players have a chance to get Nomad, Skeleton, Survival, and Paracord knives in Doppler and Marble Fade finishes. M4A1-S Blue Phosphor
Among skins from previous years that maintained popularity, it's worth noting M4A1-S Blue Phosphor. This dark blue skin, which appeared in 2020 (The Control Collection / Operation Broken Fang), became one of last year's most successful investments, showing almost double growth (from $500-600 to $1000). Recently its price has been fluctuating around the new level, so it's hard to predict how it will change going forward.
AK-47 Baroque Purple
AK-47 Baroque Purple is another skin whose price continued to grow steadily. If at the beginning of the year it was around $25, by the end it exceeded $100, and it's not excluded that this trend will continue. The price is supported by the skin's rarity, despite its design potentially seeming understated.
Glove Case
Among old containers, Glove Case showed notable growth. If at the beginning of the year its price was $5, at its peak it reached $25, and by year's end it decreased somewhat but still remains high, since the skins it contains remain interesting for collectors.
