Movistar Riders have qualified for the ESL Pro League

Movistar Riders became the first Spanish team to qualify for ESL Pro League Season 15. Recently, the roster, which includes Alejandro “alex” Masanet, along with four other up-and-coming local esports players, scored another notable achievement by becoming the first team from Spain to qualify for a major. Now Movistar Riders continue to move forward, defeating Brazil's GODSENT in two rounds with a convincing lead on Overpass and Nuke. However, GODSENT still has a chance to qualify for the ESL Pro League. To do this, she will need to perform well in the lower bracket matches of the tournament, the last of which will take place on Sunday.

The Overpass map was chosen by GODSENT in the qualifying stage match for the ESL Pro League, knowing that Movistar Riders had recently experienced problems with it and lost on it not only to strong rivals such as Heroic and Enterprise, but also to the American RBG. However, having lost several rounds at the beginning, the Spaniards managed to fight back and then gain an advantage. Events developed in a similar way on Nuke: at first the Brazilian team took the lead, but then, thanks to the successful actions of alex and mopoz, Movistar Riders achieved a score of 16 – 9, securing entry into the ESL Pro League.
