With the CS: GO update, released on September 22, a new operation called Riptide will start in the game (in Russian translation it was called “Predatory Waters”). It will feature five new maps, the mission system and game mode settings will be redesigned.
With this update, Valve has expanded the ability to launch the game in private matches. In particular, members of Steam groups will be able to organize matches on Valve servers that are only available to those who are members of the group. Thanks to new options, it has become easier for players to arrange matches with friends in Premier mode.
In addition, it will be possible to choose the time of the game: in addition to standard matches up to 16 wins, those who wish will have access to games according to competitive rules up to 9 wins, which take a little more than twenty minutes. Along with the usual rules, players will be able to try out several versions of the “all against all” mode. with individual or team scoring.
Stars earned during the operation can be spent on various rewards – agent skins, four new weapon collections, two sets of stickers and patches. There is also a new weapon case in the game. It contains 17 skins created by the community, as well as rare knives with a gamma wave color.
