The leader of the Gambit team, which recently rose to first position in the world rankings, recently gave an interview to the HLTV portal in which he explained how they managed to achieve such success. A few months ago, Gambit was just trying to break into the world top, but at the beginning of the year it managed to become the winner of IEM Katowice, and then take second place at ESL Pro League Season 13.
Vladislav «nafany» Gorshkov believes that the hard work of the entire team played a major role in these achievements. He believes that while the progress of other teams has slowed due to the problems associated with the transition to online, Gambit has become much more invested in preparation than others. The player noted that almost no other team devotes so much time to bootcamps. Even during competitions, they usually do not set aside a day for rest, but continue to train. nafany also noted the successful work of the coach, who managed to create a schedule that gives the players the opportunity to show maximum productivity.
Nafany expects that Gambit will be able to remain among the leaders even after the largest eSports competitions return to their usual format: the team will be able to compete for the title of winner or, at least, get into the top 8 participants.
