Natus Vincere left the IEM Katowice championship, having been defeated by the Gambit team in the semifinals. Commenting on what happened, Alexander “s1mple” Kostylev mentioned that the reason for the loss was the frequent mistakes that the players made at the beginning. Because of this, the team felt insecure and lost the initiative. The sniper believes that the defeat from Gambit could ultimately be called deserved.
The team coach compared the performance at IEM Katowice with the failure at ESL One Cologne in 2020 – there the team also showed an unexpectedly low level, ending up at the end of the top ten at the end of the competition.
Several analysts attributed NAVI's loss with a bad choice of card.
