Natus Vincere was able to secure a place at the Major by defeating Vitality on the third day of Europe RMR. Moreover, thanks to the total number of victories, she will begin her performance at PGL Major Antwerp from the Legends stage.
The outcome of the confrontation between Natus Vincere and Vitality was determined on two maps. The first of them was Inferno. At the start, the French won several rounds, but were unable to maintain this advantage, and by the middle of the map the advantage was already on the side of NAVI with a score of 10 – 6. Thanks to the effective actions of Valery “b1t” Vakhovsky and Kirill "Boomb14" Mikhailov, Vitality failed to win back. The map remained with NAVI with a score of 16 – 13. Mirage ended with the same results, which is not surprising considering that the French team has never won this map in 2022.
In addition, thanks to the victory over forZe, which Natus Vincere won the next day, the team will go straight to the Legends stage, where Herioic, BIG and FaZe previously qualified. Thus, she will begin her journey to PGL Major Antwerp from a higher level, without going through the Challengers stage.
Another team from the CIS that managed to qualify for the major was Outsiders. In her final match at Europe RMR, she defeated the Portuguese SAW on three maps, and on the last of them it was possible to determine the winner only in overtime.
