Natus Vincere has expanded the composition of its youth academy by inviting another promising teenager to join it – thirteen-year-old Adam "froz1k" Nagorny from Ukraine. So far froz1k's most remarkable achievement – rating over 3000 ELO on FACEIT. In his statement published on the NAVI website, he noted that he has always admired the team’s play and is incredibly glad that they gave him the opportunity to prove himself. He hopes that the experience he will gain at the academy will allow him to take his game to the next level.
NAVI is currently implementing several projects for promising players of different ages. One of the most famous – NAVI Junior team, which is one of the best youth CS:GO teams in the world. In addition, the esports organization is forming a second team called NAVI Youth. Selection for it takes place through the Road to NAVI platform.
At the same time, younger players, such as froz1k, do not immediately start playing in any team. They will first have to study theory and practice individual tactical techniques. The NAVI Junior coach notes that thanks to this approach, at the moment when a player begins to perform on the professional stage, they already know his strengths and weaknesses and understand in which role he will be most effective.
