The Natus Vincere team, which for a long time occupied a leading position in the HLTV rating, fell out of the top 3. Now she ranks only in sixth place. At the top of the ranking is G2, followed by fnatic and Faze. The gap between the teams remains not too big – Only the leaders who are more than a hundred points ahead of their closest rivals can feel relatively calm, while all other teams in the top ten are located within the next hundred. For example, the difference between NAVI and Astralis, who occupy fifth place, is only 12 points.
The main reason why NAVI lost its leading position was its unsuccessful performance at the DreamHack Masters Spring 2020 championship. In some matches, it showed play even below its average level, acting insufficiently coordinated and missing opportunities to win. The NAVI coach noted that such problems often arise when playing online – in LAN matches it is much easier to establish interaction between players.
Natus Vincere's next chance to win will be participation in BLAST Premier Spring 2020. The team has already defeated Ninjas in Pajamas in the quarter-finals, and now it faces a semi-final match.
