In the next match of the ESL Pro League Season 12 Europe tournament, Natus Vincere interrupted Heroic's winning streak and advanced to the grand finals. Despite the fact that the Danish team had previously successfully advanced through the playoffs, winning victories over Astralis and BIG, the clash with NAVI turned out to be much more difficult for them. Now Heroic will have to play with the winner of the match Astralis – mousesports, which will take place on October 3.
NAVI set a high pace from the first rounds, largely thanks to the successful actions of Denis “electronic” Sharipova. Soon Heroic were losing with a score of 1:10, and they never managed to win back. Having won only a few rounds, they eventually lost to Inferno with a score of 5:16. On the second map, Natus Vincere acted no less effectively. In the first rounds on the Mirage Heroic map, they managed to score several victories, but soon NAVI seized the initiative again. After the change of sides, the balance of power remained virtually unchanged, and Heroic were unable to oppose anything to the coordinated actions of Natus Vincere. As a result, the team from the CIS won a convincing victory, winning eight rounds in a row at the end of the match and leaving the map behind with a score of 16: 8.
The grand final of ESL Pro League Season 12 will take place on October 4, and the team that will become NAVI’s opponent will be determined soon.
