NAVI qualified for the IEM Beijing-Haidian grand finals

On November 21, NAVI won another victory in the playoffs of the IEM Beijing-Haidian championship, thus reaching the grand finals. The match started with the Dust2 map. Although the CIS team managed to gain a slight advantage at first, G2 began to pull ahead as soon as the players got their hands on rifles. G2 won seven of the next nine rounds. In the second half of this map, the fight was almost equal, and as a result, the European team was able to retain it (16 – 9).

On Train Natus Vincere were able to take the lead almost immediately, winning five rounds in a row. G2 tried to fight back, but they weren’t very successful – the first half of the draw ended with a score of 9 – 6. In the second half, the CIS team continued to strengthen its advantage, and although G2 were able to win several rounds, the map ended with a score of 16 – 12 in favor of NAVI, largely thanks to the successful actions of s1mple.

As a result, the fate of the match was decided on the last map, Nuke. From the very beginning, Natus Vincere handled G2's defense without any problems, winning eleven rounds in a row. Then NAVI’s rivals were able to win several victories, but it was already impossible to win back: Natus Vincere chalked up this map to their account: 16 – 3.

The winner of the championship will be determined in the NAVI grand finals – Vitality, which will take place on Sunday.
