On May 11, the original NAVI lineup held a show match against streamers. The event attracted a lot of attention – Even before the start of the match, more than 150,000 people gathered to watch the game online. The maximum number of spectators simultaneously watching the game exceeded 190 thousand, and the average online per match was about 130 thousand.
The game was attended by cybersportsmen who were part of Natus Vincere in 2010, and their opponents were famous Russian-speaking streamers. The show match was organized by the FASTCUP platform.
NAVI won with a score of 3:1. They lost to streamers on the Cache map, but then bounced back on Tuscan, Dust2 and Inferno. Moreover, the last two maps were played in Counter-Strike 1.6.
The match gave the participants and spectators a lot of vivid emotions. Having won, the players of the iconic NAVI roster sang the song “We are the champions” in the team speech. Egor "markeloff" Markelov thanked all NAVI fans who gathered to watch the stream. He noted that he was very pleased with the opportunity to see so many people.
Once upon a time, it was with this composition that the history of NAVI began. In 2010, players scored several major victories, including successful performances at the World Cyber Games and Intel Extreme Masters IV. This lineup lasted until 2013, and although the players then went to other teams, many people remembered it as one of the most successful teams in Russian eSports.
