On June 19, NAVI met with G2 in one of the semi-final matches of the Blast Premier Spring Finals championship, and performed very successfully: G2 left the tournament, losing with a score of 2: 1. Natus Vincere won on the maps Mirage (16 - 3) and Nuke (16 - 13), but lost on Train (11 - 16). In the next match, Natuse Vincere will have to fight with Team Vitality, who continue to participate in the playoffs, having defeated Ninjas in Pajamas.
On Mirage, NAVI managed to seize the advantage from the very beginning. Despite the fact that their opponents managed to carry out successful attacks several times and remain 1v1, Natus Vincere won each time. By the time the sides changed, the advantage had already become overwhelming, and G2 had practically no chance left.
The game on Train was marked by one of the most striking moments of the match: Alexander “s1mple” Kostylev made an ace, destroying all five opponent players with headshots. However, for some time there was a feeling that G2 was able to, if not change the course of the match, then at least turn it into an equal rivalry. On Nuke, G2 players gained the advantage for a while. NAVI maintained control over the map, but were not always able to convert it into victories. Thanks to this, G2 managed to close the gap, but the final rounds decided the matter, and Natus Vincere advanced to the next stage.
