French esportsman Nathan "NBK" Schmitt commented on his departure from the main team of MOUZ, which was unexpected not only for the community, but also for the player himself. After spending two months with the team and playing only 25 maps, he was sent to the reserves, and his place was taken by youth team player John “JDC” de Castro.
In his post dated March 18, NBK wrote that he learned about the decision of the team management only 20 hours ago. He noted that he had never experienced such confusion due to a dishonest and hasty decision.
Thus, NBK most likely will not be able to compete at Europe RMR and then at the Major, since the final composition of the teams that will go to these competitions has already been determined. However, the recently signed contract may prevent Schmitt from finding a new team in the near future. In his post, NBK mentioned that he would take a break for a few days to reflect on what happened, and then start streaming his personal training sessions.
Opinions about this decision of MOUZ management were divided. Analyst and former coach Yanko "YNk" Paunovic noted that he was “not happy with these changes,” since the team now lacks experienced players. On the other hand, analyst Alex “Mauisnake” Ellenberg noted that he is happy for JDC and considers him a high-level player.
