The Russian team Nigma Galaxy confirmed its title as the strongest team in women's CS: GO, winning a landslide victory with a score of 2 – 0 over FURIA fe in the final of ESL Impact Valencia. Thus, the teams repeated the final of the previous tournament in this series, where they met the same opponents, and with the same results. Moreover, this time the advantage of Nigma Galaxy turned out to be even more significant, since during the previous meeting of these rivals FURIA fe was still able to win one map.
Moreover, NIgma Galaxy did not lose a single map on its way to victory. The greatest resistance to them was provided by the same FURIA fe, which Nigma won on Vertigo with a score of 16 – 11. In all other matches of the tournament, the advantage of the Russian team was even more significant.
Currently, e-sportswomen from Russia, Slovakia and Romania are playing for Nigma Galaxy. Throughout the ESL Impact Valencia tournament, as before in Dallas, the best performance was shown by Ana “ANa” Dumbrava. In addition, the top 8 players of the tournament included Ksenia “vilga” Kluenkova, Victoria "tory" Kazieva and Katarina "Kat" Vashkova. Interestingly, the highest rating at the tournament was shown by Olga “Olga” Rodriguez (1.41 on six maps) despite her team being defeated.
Thus, the first place of the tournament and a prize of $50,000 went to Nigma Galaxy, second – FURIA fe, and third and fourth were shared by NAVI Javelins and MIBR fe.
