Based on the results of the matches that took place on April 23, three more teams were identified at the European RMR tournament, securing their places at the major – they were NIP, ENCE and G2.
ENCE defeated the Polish Anonymo on two maps (Overpass and Mirage) without any significant difficulties. Now the team will have to wait for the results of a number of other matches, the outcome of which will determine whether it will have the chance to fight for third place in the Legends stage.
G2, having defeated Astralis, guaranteed itself a place in the Challenger stage with three victories and one defeat in total. At the same time, the distribution of points is such that the probability of playing a match for third place with a chance of getting into the Legends stage is low for her. Finally, NIP also made it to the Challengers stage, winning on two maps against the Czech SINNERS.
One of the main surprises of this day was Entropiq's loss to the French HEET. The performance of the Russian team at the European RMR tournament was not very successful from the very beginning, and it ended with defeat from HEET on two maps, as a result of which the losers will leave the competition.
April 24 will be the last day of the tournament, during which the list of European participants in the major will be finally determined. Anonymo will play against Spirit, SINNERS against Bad News Eagles and Astralis against HEET. The winner of each pair will receive a place in the Challengers stage. There will also be a last place match on Sunday in the Legends stage. In it NIP will play against ENCE or G2 – with whom exactly depends on the results of previous games of that day.
