At the end of the week, several sources published suggestions that a new operation will appear in CS:GO in the coming weeks. Rumors about this appeared a few weeks ago after the game received an update containing new translations and changes in item descriptions. Dutch level designer and skin author Julian "Hollandje" Histerman found similarities between the sequence of small updates the game had been receiving lately and the way they were released in the run-up to Operation Shattered Web. These assumptions were confirmed by Norse – on his Twitter he wrote that a major update will be released really soon, but he prefers not to disclose more detailed information about it yet.
YouTuber VNN Tyler published a video in which he shared his version of expectations about the new update. He believes that it may feature a new map called Frostbite, a one-on-one game mode, and adjustments will also be made to existing maps. (Office and Mirage). According to Tyler, Frostbite looks very impressive and is the best Danger Zone map available. The upcoming updates will not be limited to this – and what exactly they will bring, players will find out in the near future.
