In the middle of the week, the lineup for the upcoming DreamHack Open Fall tournament, which is due to start in two weeks, was announced. This will be the last RMR tournament of 2020. 16 teams will take part in it, which will be divided into four groups. The team that takes last place in its group will leave the competition, the two that take the top positions will get into the upper bracket of the tournament, and the third – to the bottom.
The attention of the audience will be attracted, first of all, by Group B, which included three teams from the top 10 – Heroic, G2 and Astralis. The fourth unexpectedly was the Endpoint team, which qualified for the tournament through closed qualifying matches, defeating mousesports twice. mousesports itself, in turn, will have to make a lot of effort to get out of group A, where it will compete with Vitality, fnatic and OG.
In Group C was the BIG team, which currently ranks fifth in the world rankings, and the rest of its participants are unlikely to be able to prevent it from advancing to the next stage. Finally, in group D the result may be unpredictable – in it the fight will take place between ENCE, NiP, Sprout and North.
DreamHack Open Fall should take place from October 15 to 25, and the total prize pool will be $115,000.
