The organizers of the Nordic Masters Spring tournament have published the final list of participants and match schedule. The competition will take place from March 26 to 28. Eight teams will compete for a $25,000 prize and a place at the BLAST Premier Spring Showdown. The participants were divided into two groups that will compete in the GSL format, with the first few matches taking place on the same map, and the subsequent ones – on three. A total of four teams will qualify for the playoffs.
The leader of Group A can be called the Finnish team HAVU. Of all the participants, she ranks highest in the world rankings, and has recently strengthened her roster with former ENCE players Jani “Aerial” Jussil and Sami “xseveN” Laasanena. Also in the first group will be GODSENT, 777 and Galaxy Racer. In Group B, ENCE, who just recently secured their place in the ESL Pro League playoffs, as well as MAD Lions, who recently recruited a new roster, have a good chance of winning. Their opponents will be the Danish team Singularity, which qualified for the tournament thanks to victory in open qualifying matches, and the Swedish Dignitas.
The group stage will take two days – Group A matches will take place on Friday, and on Saturday – group B. The semi-finals and final will take place on Sunday.
