Brazilian eSports player Marcelo “Coldzera” David, who plays for FaZe, recently gave an interview in which he said that his teammate Olof is an "olofmeister" Gustaffson plans to retire from his professional career. Coldzera mentioned this when talking about the band's future plans: he noted that two replacements are planned in the lineup in the near future. The transfer of Twistzz to FaZe has already been announced, and the team management will announce who will replace Olof in March or April.
In total, olofmeister has been playing Counter Strike on the international stage for about eight years. One of his biggest achievements was winning two majors in one year in 2015 when he played for fnatic. In 2016, the player took sixth place in the world individual ranking, and in 2017 – nineteenth.
In recent years, he has appeared intermittently with Faze several times, winning several victories at international tournaments with it. In 2020, he took a break for a while, and in October he decided to rejoin FaZe, taking the place of Nikola "NiKo" Kovacs, who left for another team. However, now olofmeister has decided to end his professional career. Details about the reasons for this decision are still unknown.
