Most of the qualifying competitions for the IEM Dallas tournament, which is scheduled to take place in Texas at the end of May, have completed. The European qualifying stage should be played soon, while participants from Oceania, North and South America have already been decided.
Based on the results of the qualifying games for the countries of Oceania, the Australian Looking for Org secured a place in the competition, defeating VERTEX and ORDER. Many matches of the South American stage repeated the confrontation between MIBR, Imperial and 9z, which could recently be seen at the RMR tournament. 9z started their performance with a victory, but Imperial, which lost at first, managed to play successfully in the lower bracket and then beat MIBR.
The North American Qualifier also featured some of the region's most notable teams, as none of them received a direct invite to the tournament. Liquid did not lose a single match, and the second team to qualify was Complexity, which needed two victories over GODSENT to do so.
Thus, fourteen participants of IEM Dallas have been determined. Among the teams that received a direct invitation – ENCE, Natus Vincere, FURIA and FaZe and others. Now, based on the results of the qualifying tournaments, four more teams have joined them.
