The list of participants of BLAST Premier World Final has been determined

At the end of the week, the final list of teams that will take part in the BLAST Premier World Final 2022 was determined. The last two places went to OG and Liquid, who managed to secure a fairly high position in the BLAST Leaderboard ranking. Previously, Ninjas in Pajamas claimed one of them, but it lost to FaZe in the semi-finals of the BLAST Premier Fall Final and thus lost its chances of qualifying for the final event. In addition, in the middle of the week, places at the tournament in Abu Dhabi were awarded to Heroic and G2, who gained enough rating points.

The remaining four teams worthy of participation in the World Finals were determined by the results of major tournaments held throughout the year. Thus, FaZe got to the event thanks to victories in the 15th season of the ESL Pro League and at the PGL Major Antwerp, Natus Vincere – based on the results of BLAST Premier Spring Final, Vitality – due to successful performance in the 16th season of the ESL Pro League and, finally, Virtus.pro (Outsiders) after winning the IEM Rio Major.

It is interesting that all the teams that qualified for the World Final through BLAST Leaderboards are partners of the organizer. Thanks to this, they had more opportunities to earn ranking points by participating in spring and fall tournaments. Among those teams that fell short was ENCE, which was 350 points behind OG despite the latter having an advantage.
