The final list of participants of ESL Pro League Season 12 has been determined

ESL announced that the ESL Pro League Season 12 tournament will be held online, despite the fact that the company initially expected that it would be possible to return to the LAN format. ESL previously announced that it plans to return to offline tournaments once international travel for players is possible without restrictions. It has now been decided that the competition will be held in separate regional divisions according to the scheme that has already been worked out during the coronavirus pandemic.

A tournament that will cover all major regions – Europe, North America, Asia, Oceania and South America – will take place from October 1 to October 6. A significant part of the prize fund will go to Europe – the teams will compete for $450,000. North American teams will have a chance to win a share of the $225,000 prize pool. In other regions the amounts will be much less – $25,000 each, which is not surprising, given that only four teams are represented in Asia, South America and Oceania.

The largest fight will unfold in the European division – Sixteen teams were included in it, including the Russian Natus Vincere and Spirit. ESL recently announced the final rosters for the American divisions. In particular, in North America, eight teams will compete for the championship, including 100 Thieves and Evil Geniuses.
