Eden Esports, which organizes the Malta Vibes Knockout tournament series, has announced the list of participants for the new season. The competition, called Malta Vibes Knockout Series 5, will take place between 17 and 27 January. Among the guests – many teams in the top 30 of the world rankings.
Among the most notable teams invited to the first stage are teams such as Wisla Krakow, Young Ninjas and Enterprise. The latter will perform for the first time without her sniper David “forsyy” Bili, who moved to SINNERS. Among the Russian teams that will appear in the first stage – INDE IRAE, AVE and 1shot. Several more well-known groups received an invitation immediately to the second stage – these are forZe, 1WIN and K23.
Eight teams that take leading positions will enter the second stage, where they will have to fight with another eight teams that received direct invitations. Among the participants who went straight to the second stage – two teams from the top 20 (fnatic and Copenhagen Flames), as well as several other organizations from Europe and the CIS.
The total prize pool for Malta Vibes Knockout Series 5 is $50,000. In addition, the tournament is part of the Elisa Champions of Champions cycle, so based on its results, participants will receive rating points, which will determine who will be selected for the final competition.
