The final list of participants in the final stage of ESL Impact League Season 2 has become known. The final stage of this CS:GO tournament among women's teams will be held in LAN format in Jonkoping, Sweden. The last teams that managed to reach the finals were the Russian NOFEAR5 and the Brazilian FURIA fe and B4 fe.
NOFEAR5 narrowly qualified for the finals, beating NIP fe in the group stage in the number of maps won after both teams had the same win-loss record. After that, they won against NAVI Javelins with a score of 2 – 1, thus confirming their right to a place in the final stage.
For both Brazilian teams, the path to the final was simpler: both demonstrated a convincing superiority over their opponents, collecting six round-robin victories in their groups.
Eight teams will now meet in Jonkoping on November 25 to compete for a $123,000 prize pool. They will be divided into two groups that will play in a GSL format, after which the top two finishers from each group will advance to the playoffs. The favorites of the tournament are the Russian Nigma Galaxy, which has already won two previous events in the Impact series. The most difficult opponents for them will most likely be the Brazilian teams mentioned above.
