The Dexerto portal has published new information regarding the use of the coaching bug. According to these data, in 2020, Heroic tried to enter into an agreement with players that would prohibit them from publicly speaking about the abuse of this bug for the next fifteen years and set a large monetary fine for violations. The players then refused to sign such an agreement, reasonably fearing that it could ultimately damage their reputation since they would not have the opportunity to speak out in their own defense.
In addition, the Dexerto investigation published new information regarding the conflict between Heroic and HUNDEN, which began to be actively discussed in the public space in the middle of this summer. The authors of the publication claim that its initial cause was a delay in the payment of prize money: at some point, the e-sports organization owed the coach more than 100 thousand dollars.
Also, the source with whom Dexerto representatives spoke mentioned that Heroic is now negotiating with ESL, hoping to become its partner in order to then receive a share of the profits from organizing tournaments. Heroic management expects that it will be possible to reach an agreement, despite the scandals that have been occurring around the team in recent months.
