The organizers of the next European RMR tournament DreamHack Open Fall have published a full list of teams that will be invited to the closed qualifying stage or will receive a pass directly to the main tour. Those in the top eleven positions in the regional rankings will advance directly to the main stage, while the next nine will have to qualify first. The invites were distributed after all the teams announced the rosters with which they would enter the competition.
It is noteworthy that Astralis announced a lineup with the participation of Patrick “es3tag” Hansen, which means that Andreas "Xyp9x" Hansen will remain on the bench until at least the end of October. The leading position in the ranking is currently occupied by Vitality. They are 800 points ahead of second place G2. GODSENT closes the top three, followed by ENCE with a very small margin.
It was originally planned that the third RMR tournament would be the last competition in the current cycle. However, now the organizers have decided that the cycle will continue until the situation with the coronavirus pandemic improves and it becomes clear what schedule the competition will follow. This situation is largely due to the cancellation of ESL One: Rio, which was announced recently.
