Flashpoint 3 organizers have announced that teams NIP and Anonymo will have the opportunity to replay the final part of their match, namely the Mirage card. This decision was made after NIP submitted a request, reporting that during the match, which took place last Friday and ended in victory for the Polish team, they constantly experienced problems with the quality of the connection. It was later determined that the packet loss was due to server configuration and therefore NIP did not have the technical ability to resolve the issue.
Flashpoint organizers discussed possible resolutions with the Professional Players Association and both affected teams, and offered Anonymo the choice of replaying the entire match or just the deciding map.
At the same time, the organizers decided to postpone the replay of the final map until Tuesday evening so that the teams could prepare and their fans – to rest after an episode that caused a lot of controversy and conflict. In particular, representatives of Anonymo claimed that the Swedish team used its available resources to put pressure on the organizers and achieve a replay of the match. NIP, in turn, accused the Polish players of baseless allegations and provoking a conflict.
The tournament organizers apologized to the teams, players and the community for not immediately providing complete information about the situation and spending several days developing a solution that suited everyone.
