Two Danish teams competed in the final match of the Pinnacle Club Championship. As a result, Heroic defeated Astralis on two maps, winning their first LAN trophy and the main prize of 150 thousand dollars. Casper's team "cadiaN" Møllera quite convincingly demonstrated her superiority, confirming her right to be called the best in Denmark.
The first map of this confrontation was Ancient, chosen by Astralis. In the first half of the match, Lucas "gla1ve" Rossander was almost unable to counteract the opponent's pressure, and they were able to reserve only three rounds. After the change of sides, the balance of forces leveled out somewhat, but the advantage remained with Heroic (9 - 16). On Overpass, Astralis looked more confident, but Heroic won this map too, albeit with a smaller margin (11 – 16).
It is interesting that the title of MVP of the tournament was awarded to Benjamin “blameF” Bremer from Astralis despite the fact that his team lost in the grand final. He played eight maps during the tournament, showing an average rating of 1.41. In the match against EG.PA, his rating turned out to be the highest in the tournament (2.06). In addition, the player was in the top in four other indicators. For blameF, this is the first award for the best player, although at previous events he was repeatedly included in the EVP lists.
