Red Bull Flick Finnland winners caught cheating

There were two cheaters among the participants in the Finnish stage of the open qualification for the Red Bull Flick competition, and these players managed to win the final. Two famous Finnish e-sportsmen – Alexi "allu" Yalli and Elias "Jamppi" Olkkonen also faced these cheaters in a show match and lost to them with a score of 3 – 1. The culprits were two players with the nicknames “woldes” and “jezayyy”, which played under the tag “boss osuja”. It is already known that one of them owns several accounts that were previously banned by VAC.

There were many teams participating in the Finnish open qualifying competition, and the fact that cheaters managed to reach the final caused serious concern among the organizers. On May 24, Red Bull said it had received reports of possible cheating and began investigating the incident. The competition was held on the FACEIT platform, but hackers managed to bypass the anti-cheat built into it. According to Red Bull, the problem arose because a platform update released last week caused some cheat detection methods to temporarily stop working.

Since the competition schedule does not allow qualifying again, first place was given to the team that followed the disqualified leaders. Thus, Enhanced Sports Eclub will be considered the winner of Red Bull Flick Finnland and will advance to the European qualifying stage, which will take place at the end of this week.
