Midfielder of the Real Madrid football club Carlos Enrique Casemiro announced the creation of his own Counter Strike team. He plans that the team, which will be called CaseEsports, will soon begin performing first in Spain and then at the international level.
The leaders of CaseEsports will be Denis “dzt” Fischer and Paulo "land1n" Felipe, who previously played for the Brazilian TempoStorm. It will also include Felipe "delboNi" Delboni, who previously proved himself in INTZ and Imperial, and two young players who came out of FURIA Academy – Yan “yepz” Pedretti and Winkius "n1ssim" Pereira. The team's base will be located in Madrid.
Previously, Casemiro himself played CS: GO more than once with Brazilian esports players or his teammates on the Brazilian national team. Casemiro said he created the team in an effort to take a hobby he truly enjoys to the professional level: “I understand that it will take time and a lot of work to build a team and a path to winning titles, but I hope that the players and fans will truly enjoy this project.”
Currently, the short-term goals of CaseEsports – successfully perform on the Spanish eSports scene and begin to qualify for international competitions. Soon she plans to take part in the qualification selection for DreamHack Open December.
