Representatives of the Russian hockey club "Traktor" announced that on April 13 they will take part in a show match in CS:GO. The game will be broadcast by RuHub studio. The team, which included five Traktor players, will be opposed by hockey players from the Russian national team, including representatives of SKA, CSKA, Metallurg and others. and the Washington Capitals.
Lately, such matches have been held quite often. For example, recently Russian football players won a victory in CS:GO over the Ukrainian squad, and several famous European football players, including Neymar, played a show match with the FURIA team. Russian player Fedor Smolov, who took part in one of these matches, linked their popularity to the crisis caused by the coronavirus. According to him, now it is more profitable to invest in skins than to spend money on anything else. It is known that he himself has very expensive equipment, including a rare skin for the “Dragon Tale” sniper rifle.
By participating in such matches, sports stars not only attract attention to themselves and entertain the public, but also raise funds for charity. Thus, in mid-April it is planned to hold a charity tournament in CS:GO called We Strike Corona. Famous football players from different countries will take part in it.
