Rejin to leave mousesports coaching position

Allan “Rejin” Petersen, who served as mousesports coach, will join the number of eSports players forced to leave their teams due to the use of the “coaching bug.” The management of mousesports decided to stop working with him after ESIC imposed a ban of almost 20 months on him. Earlier, in early September, Rejin publicly admitted that he had repeatedly used this bug in 2017-2019, when he was the coach of the Tricked team. A total of seven violations on his part were confirmed. The ban period of 19.8 months was imposed taking into account the fact that Allan admitted guilt and assisted in the investigation – otherwise the disqualification could be longer.

After this, mousesports issued a statement that the principles of fair play are the main value for the team, and therefore they are ending cooperation with Rejin, including after the ban expires.

Esports organizations react to the development of the situation with the “coaching bug” differently. Some of them also decide to terminate cooperation with offending esports players, while others, on the contrary, provide them with support. The latter included such teams as OG, FURIA, ENCE and Hard Legion.
