Based on the results of the matches that took place in the RMR tournament on April 16, the Australian Renegades were able to get a place at the major, depriving TYLOO of such an opportunity. After the Mongolian team called IHC unexpectedly managed to secure a slot at PGL Major Antwerp, winning successively over TYLOO and Renegades, the latter's entry into the tournament depended on the outcome of the match for second place.
Renegades were able to beat their rivals from China on two maps. The first of these was Inferno, and on it the Australians were able to demonstrate an overwhelming advantage. Although after the first few rounds the forces seemed almost equal with a score of 3 - 4, the situation soon changed. Renegades won thirteen rounds, losing only one, resulting in the match ending with a score of 16 – 5 in her favor.
On the second map (Vertigo), the Chinese esports players looked much more confident. In the first half of the map, they did not leave their opponents a single chance, winning 13 rounds and almost completely blocking their opponents' actions. But after switching sides, the situation changed radically again: Renegades were able to win 12 rounds in a row, again leveling the odds. It was possible to determine the winner only in overtime, which ended with a score of 22 – 20 in favor of Renegades.
Thus, as a result of the Asian stage, TYLOO and Looking For Org are leaving the tournament, and Renegades and IHC will soon have to test their strength at the major.
