S0tF1k will return to Spirit as an assistant coach

On Saturday, Spirit management announced that Dmitry “S0rF1k” Forostyanko will work with the team as an assistant to its main coach Nikolai “Certus” Polyanova. Thus, the e-sportsman will return to the team in which he played as a player from 2016 to 2019.

During his time in Spirit, S0rF1k has appeared at major competitions several times, including the majors in London (2018) and Katowice (2019). He left the team in September 2019 when Spirit signed Boris "magixx" Vorobyov and Nikolai "mir" Bityukov, and decided to join Espada. However, in January 2021, this esports organization disbanded its CS:GO roster. Only Abdul "degster" remained in it. Gazanov and Robert "Patsi" Isyanov – but in the end both of these players moved to Spirit.

In his statement, S0F1k said that he was thinking about starting a coaching career a year and a half ago, when they found a replacement for him in the Spirit lineup, but then his intentions were not serious. However, after the collapse of Espada, he received an offer to become an assistant at Certus, and he decided that it would be interesting to try something new. Currently, the average age of Spirit players is 22.2 years old, so twenty-six-year-old Dmitry Forostyanko will be able to bring the experience the team needs to the game.
