s1mple and electronic have extended their contracts until 2022

Alexander «s1mple» Kostylev and Denis "electronic" Sharipov confirmed that their contracts with Natus Vincere have been extended until the end of 2022. This should put an end to recent rumors that the status of both players may be uncertain – This was especially true for s1mple, whose previous contract expired at the end of December. Both esports players have played a key role in the team for several years: Kostylev has been playing for the team since August 2016, and Sharipov – since November 2017.

Over the past four years, Alexander Kostylev has consistently been in the top 20 best players in the HLTV rating, and in 2018 he held a leading position in it. He also ranks high on the list of eSports athletes who have received the most individual awards, having been named Most Valuable Player (MVP) a total of ten times. Electronic was in the top 20 of the individual rating twice – in 2018 and 2019, and he earned his first MVP award only this year.

Most likely, at the beginning of 2021, NAVI will be in the top 3 of the overall HLTV rating thanks to several successful performances at the end of the year. Her biggest victory of 2020 was the victory at IEM Katowice – the last major LAN event of 2020.
