Natus Vincere announced that Alexander "s1mple" Kostylev signed an extension of his current contract with the organization for another three years. Thus, he will continue to cooperate with her at least until 2025.
s1mple joined NAVI in 2016, moving to the Ukrainian team from Liquid. Over the past six years, he has become its key player and has made a decisive contribution to its victories in a number of top-level tournaments. Since 2016, s1mple has annually appeared in the rankings of the best players based on individual results, and in 2018 and 2021 he was in first place on this list, and in 2019 – on the second. With his participation, the team won a total of 11 major trophies, successfully performed at PGL Major Stockholm and became the third winner of the Intel Grand Slam super prize in history.
Commenting on the renewal of the contract with s1mple, the team management notes that now the player will become one of the architects of the team’s success at IEM Rio 2022. At the European RMR tournament preceding the major in Malta, Natus Vincere became the undisputed leader, which will allow it to begin playing at the major immediately from the Legends stage. s1mple's rating at these competitions was an impressive 1.48.
