Many fans of CS:GO have been waiting for a long time for the appearance of a collection with an Egyptian theme. Once Anubis was added to the competitive map pool, it was only a matter of time before a skin pack like this was released. The collection case is already on sale, and when you open it you can get one of nineteen skins. All of them were created by the community and, before they were included in the official collection, were available through the Workshop Steam.
The first days after the release of the new collection – It's time to try your luck and open some cases. Prices for new items that have just appeared on the market have not yet settled, which means there is a chance for good deals. M4A4 Eyes of Horus
The only “Secret” skin quality in the – M4A4 Eyes of Horus collection. It's no surprise that the rarest item in the Anubis Collection is designed in the same style as the card of the same name, and is filled with references to ancient Egyptian mythology. In it, Horus (Horus) was the god of the sky and the sun, and he was depicted in the form of a falcon or a man with the head of a falcon. It is this bird that is depicted on the body of the M4A4. Among other details – feathers, the sun and ornaments made in light colors.
P250 Apep’s Curse
One of two “Classified” skins quality included in the collection was also named after the ancient Egyptian god. P250 Apep’s Curse bears the name of an ominous deity, personifying darkness and evil. However, “Curse of Apep”, contrary to its name, looks bright: the entire surface of the pistol is covered with gold trim with several colored inserts.
FAMAS Water of Nemphys
The second “classified” skin – FAMAS Water of Memphys, inspired by the image of the goddess Nephthys, who in Egyptian mythology is responsible for births and deaths. One of its symbols – a boat that floats on underground waters, and therefore the image of water of various shades formed the basis of the design. At first glance, the skin may not seem very remarkable, but in fact it fully deserves its rarity category: if you examine it in the game, you can see how its surface shimmers when the lighting changes.
Glock-18 Ramese’s Reach
Two more skins in the collection received “Forbidden” quality. One of them is – Glock-18 Ramese’s Reach. Like the P250 skin mentioned above, it is made in yellow and gold tones, and on its trunk you can see the image of the great pyramids. Another remarkable detail that is impossible not to notice – image of an eye on the handle.
Nova Sobek’s Bite
In the design of the second “Forbidden” skin, Nova Sobek’s Bite, there was a place to mention another ancient Egyptian deity – Sobek, the patron saint of the Nile, who was usually depicted with the head of a crocodile. Most of the surface of the skin is covered with multi-colored scales with golden edges.
Among the skins with a lower rarity, you can also find remarkable specimens, even if they don’t look so bright. Many may want to add to their collection AWP Black Nile with a pattern reminiscent of a map, or Tec-9 Mummy’s Rot, in the decoration of which mummy bandages are visible. Choose skins to your liking and take the opportunity to be among their first owners.
