Starting from June 3, 2022, sdy in Navi plays as a stand-in instead of Bumych, who was kicked at the end of May. Simply put, Mad Lions, sdy's home club, loaned him out to Navi for free. After two major tournaments, Lisbon Blast in June 2022 and Cologne in July 2022, the fate of sdy (he is also called “somedieyoung”, “Samdayang” or his real name is Viktor Orudzhev) in Natus Vincere has not yet been finally determined.
The club's management remains deathly silent regarding sdy, although Navi players, for example, Simple, Bit and Perfecto have already stated several times to the esports media that they would like to continue playing with Samdayang in the lineup. In turn, CS GO analysts believe that, as a player, sdy can give Navi a lot in terms of increasing firepower and discipline, since he is able, if necessary, to play the role of an entry-fragger, lurker, and also sit patiently on the site, waiting for the attack of the opposing team.
In general, Samdayang’s story is interesting because his previous team, playing in tier-2 tournaments, actually put an end to him, however, in the top Navi organization he got a second chance and, as can be seen from the results, tried to make the most of it.
Becoming sdy as a player
Reading sdy’s biography, you quickly understand that, as they say, “God himself commanded” him to become an e-sportsman. When somedieyoung was only 3 years old, his dad, in his own garage in the city of Kostopol, located in the Rivne region of Ukraine, organized a small computer club for 9-10 computers, so the future standin Navi at this age was already playing Counter Strike version 1.5. Apparently, I became acquainted with the sdy primer later than with the famous phrase from CS GO “Bomb has been plented.”
Victor progressed very quickly in Counter Strike. Player sdy, at the age of 9, won his first LAN kaeser tournament, which was held, however, in the 3x3 format. At the same time, he had another passion that Orudzhev could not give up - football. However, life saved him from the torment of choice, since at the age of 14 it became clear that Victor’s health condition would not allow him to make a career as a professional football player.
Even the demand of parents and immediate relatives to obtain a legal education did not change Orujov’s decision regarding the Civil Defense Constitutional Court. He, of course, became a certified lawyer, however, as you understand, there is no information in sdy’s biography about his work as a lawyer.
CS GO clubs for which sdy played
Assessing the list of teams where sdy played before joining Natus Vincere, one interesting feature can be noted: Victor did not stay in any club except Team Spirit for a long time and did not even play 10 matches. This may indicate that Samdayang very clearly understood where he wanted to perform, what atmosphere should be inside the team, what was acceptable for him and what was not, so he quickly left the team if he saw that it did not suit him.

Of course, in CS GO Spirit – this is not a top-5 or even top-10 organization, so there is little media coverage around it and few people know about it except fans. The first postulate that the sdy player follows is respect for family and friends and love for his mother. And these words are not an empty phrase, since Victor respected the wishes of his relatives that he have a legal education. But, in turn, Samdayang defended the right to choose his destiny and his profession, deciding to become a professional kaeser.
The second axiom for Victor – strive to improve the world around us and help the people around us. This is very clearly visible in sdy’s game in Navi, where he doesn’t pull the blanket over himself, doesn’t push his rights, but tries to fit into the Natus Vincere game system as much as possible, find his place in it and help more experienced teammates defeat their opponents.
When discussing what he would choose, – money or a favorite activity, Orujev noted that he would prefer a favorite activity – CS GO. Sdy believes that if he plays with full dedication and desire, then the money will definitely come as an app, as a pleasant bonus. If you choose exclusively money, then sooner or later burnout and health problems will occur, and the person will have neither money nor occupation (business, work).
