Serbian esports organization 4Glory announced that it has signed three players who previously played for Onyx. Now the team, which will include Alexa “Impulse” Stankić, Dimitri "DiMKE" Veljkovic and Filip "fajkus" Konatarevich intends to fight to reach the top 30 in the world rankings.
ONYX decided not to renew contracts with the current lineup after their performance at the V4 Future Sports Festival in Budapest. The team started the tournament with a victory over SINNERS, but failed to pass the play-in stage, suffering two defeats. 4glory decided to take this opportunity and strengthen its roster with two local players (Impulse and DiMKE), as well as fajkus as a coach.
Commenting to the HLTV portal about the move to 4glory, Impulse emphasized that it seems more promising to him to play not on an international roster, but on a team formed from local players: “If international players do not perform at the highest level, the team fails due to communication problems, cultural differences and disagreements.” He noted that now they have a chance to create perhaps the best Serbian project in CS: GO. He expects that the team will be able to show results that are significant at the international level, but understands that this will not be an easy task.
