Serbian iNation will return to CS GO with a new lineup

The Serbian organization iNation announced that it is going to return to CS:GO. It was originally created in 2008, and several players managed to perform in it, who later significantly showed themselves on the eSports scene. Now many of those who participated in iNation before have supported the revived project. Among them is Yanko “YNk” Paunovic, Nikola "Niko" Kovacs and Aleksandar "kassad" Trifunovic.

Representatives of iNation explained that the former members of the team were not among its owners, but “supported the idea of passing on their legacy to young rising talent.” The new iNation roster consists of players who have been performing under the Anlaki tag for the past two months and were able to perform well in several local competitions, including selection for IESF 2021. The roster includes both experienced Serbian e-sports players and newcomers.

Commenting on the revival of iNation, the coach of the Djokabomba team noted that the main task of the project – create a healthy competitive environment in the Adriatic region and help local CS:GO players and teams reach a higher level. He also revealed that the return of iNation had been planned for a long time, but these plans faced various obstacles, such as lack of time or players. The team was assembled after a blockchain company located in Cyprus offered it financial support.
