Swedish cyber athlete decided to move to Valorant

Swedish player Jakob "pyth" Murujarvi announced in early May that he was ending his professional career in CS:GO. The most successful part of his activity was the period from 2015 to 2017, when he performed as part of the Ninjas in Pajamas team. She rose to first place in the DreamHack Masters Malmo and IEM Oakland tournaments, and also successfully played at other international events. After leaving NiP in 2017, he changed several teams, including Chaos and Godsent.

However, he came to the conclusion that in recent years he has no longer been able to reach the previous level. Despite the fact that the player continued to develop and acquire new skills, it was difficult for him to become a full-fledged member of the new team and find his place in the existing lineups. Therefore, he recently decided to leave CS:GO and start a professional career in Valorant. He says that he currently trains daily.

Recently, several professional e-sportsmen have already announced their move to Valorant, including one of the Swole Patrol players. However, many continue to be of the opinion that Valorant does not offer anything fundamentally new, and plan to continue their career in CS: GO.
