The Bulgarian SKADE won the first trophy in its history at an international competition, performing at the Elisa Invitational Winter with a new lineup. The team received a direct invitation to the quarter-finals and over the past three days won victories over Eternal Fire, Copenhagen Flames and HEET, without losing a single map in this series. Thus, the Bulgarian team will receive the main prize of 50 thousand dollars. Second place went to HEED, and third and fourth places were shared by Copenhagen Flames and ENCE. Also in the top ten were Entropig, Eternal Fire and Dignitas.
SKADE, ranked 27th in the world, was inferior to many other participants in the tournament in terms of ranking position, but in the end was able to perform better than others at the Elisa Invitational Winter, more titled participants such as Entropiq and ENCE. The victory at these competitions turned out to be a great success for SKADE, especially against the backdrop of several defeats in the previous months, including the open qualification for the PGL Major Antwerp.
The team recently updated its roster. It included former members of Fiend Kamen "bubble" Kostadinov and Simeon "dream3r" Ganev. Now SKADE hopes that the team will be able to maintain its current form and perform successfully in subsequent tournaments.
