Spirit has found a replacement for Abdul "degster" Hasanov.

The Russian Spirit, which recently moved to Serbia, has found a replacement for Abdul “degster” Gasanov, who decided to leave the team because the move did not suit him for personal reasons. Now his place will be taken by Igor “w0nderful” Zhdanov. Over the past 12 months, the seventeen-year-old eSports player has demonstrated a rating of 1.30, so Spirit expects him to be able to show a high level.

W0nderful began his career in the Ukrainian team Trasko in 2021, and even then showed good potential. He then joined the Gucci Gang lineup, which was soon signed by HellRaisers. He continued to show good results, but after the start of the conflict in Ukraine, HellRaisers was forced to disband the CS:GO roster, and w0nderful received the status of a free agent. As a result, he got the chance to join Spirit just before the IEM Cologne tournament, which starts on July 5.

In its commentary on cooperation with the player, Spirit emphasized that during the rigorous selection process that w0nderful and other candidates went through, the esports player “demonstrated high professionalism and communication skills.” Team coach Sergei “hally” Shavaev noted that w0nderful fits into the team both psychologically and stylistically, and he expects to see his progress from match to match.
