A few days ago, a large-scale update was released in CS2, the main content of which was several dozen new skins. In addition, there were a few fixes on Inferno and Train, the Fever case and an updated Train map collection appeared, as well as a new limited skin for the XM1014 Solitude shotgun with many variations. Here's the main information about the update and the most interesting skins from it.
XM1014 Solitude
XM1014 Solitude is a limited-time skin that will replace Desert Eagle Heat Treated. Like the previous limited skin, it can be obtained for credits available to Armory Pass holders. By leveling up the Armory Pass, you can get up to 40 credits in total per pass, so it's not hard to get several copies of this skin if desired.
For XM1014 Solitude this is especially relevant, as its texture is decorated with a mountain landscape in Asian style, and changes in pattern index offer a wide variety of options. Some of them are likely to be more attractive to players, but it’s hard to predict price dynamics in advance.
You can get XM1014 Solitude until July 14, 2025, after which it will be replaced by another limited skin.
Train 2025
Armory Pass holders will also get access to skins from the Train 2025 collection. One skin will cost four stars. In addition, souvenir versions of the skins will be available to viewers of the upcoming Major, which will be held in Austin.
The collection includes another skin for the AWP, called LongDog. The dog fur pattern, predominantly black and white coloring with a few red-brown accents, looks quite interesting, though not as flashy as the AWP Printstream.
But the classified skins here are the ones that immediately catch the eye. MP9 Latte Rush is painted in a graffiti style with funny inscriptions and pink clouds, and M4A4 Hellish with geometric tongues of flame will perfectly fit into any fiery inventory. The collection includes a total of 16 skins, including a new skin for the taser – Zeus x27 Charged UP.
Fever Case
The new case includes several items that are very likely to become extremely popular. First and foremost is, of course, the AWP Printstream. A long-awaited addition to the collection of stylish black-and-white weapons, which both casual players and esports pros will clearly want to add to their inventory.
The second covert skin from the case is FAMAS Bad Trip. True to its name, it is covered in images of psychedelic monsters painted in neon colors. If you like skins like Food Chain, you might like this one too.
Most likely, it will be less popular than the AWP Printstream, but it will still have its fans.
The classified skins from the new case are also worth mentioning. The selection includes:
AK-47 Searing Rage with drawings resembling creepy graffiti with chaotic inscriptions and tongues of hellfire;
UMP-45 K.O. Factory with a cartoon-style design that seems to depict the inner mechanisms of the weapon. If you didn’t know, ammo is fed by a tiny boxing glove – now it’s clearly visible!
Glock-18 Shinobu will appeal to anime fans. The style resembles the Neo-Noir series or MAC-10 Sakkaku. Maybe not too original, but those expressive eyes will definitely find their fans.
In addition, Valve updated the set of skins that can be obtained as a free drop. Four old collections (Bank, Italy, Lake, and Train) were removed from the pool. Three new ones appeared instead, with a total of about seventy skins, each with its own style.
Ascent – mostly skins in blue or blue-gray tones, reminiscent of space and flight themes.
Boreal – skins in various shades of green with plant ornaments, landscapes, camouflage, or snake scales. Now you have even more options to replenish your spring arsenal in addition to the options we wrote about recently.
Radiant – bright skins, mostly in red-orange tones, with contrasting combinations, abstract ornaments, and gradients.
Note that the update turned out to be not just cosmetic. Although the main focus was on skins, Valve didn’t forget about maps. A spring cleanup was carried out on Inferno and Train, removing visual “clutter” from several locations. The main tactical change was a slight expansion of the “banana” on Inferno.
Since the mentioned skins were added to the game only recently, they are not yet available for open sale. We will notify you as soon as they appear in our catalog, but for now you can choose from many other skins on LIS-SKINS.
