Tournament operator StarLadder created a new league called Parimatch League CS:GO. The organizers' partner was the bookmaker Parimatch. The league's first season is expected to take place in the second half of April — early May. Sixteen teams from Europe and the CIS countries will take part in the competition. The total prize fund will be 100 000$. All matches will be played online.
It is planned to hold open regional qualifying rounds at the beginning of April, based on the results of which four teams will be selected – two from each region. Twelve more participants will be invited to the tournament. This will be followed by the group stage, which ends on April 26. The final part of the tournament is scheduled to take place on May 1-3, the results of which will determine the winner.

Stepan Shulga, head of the eSports department at Parimatch, noted that the tournament will be an excellent opportunity for qualified newcomers to prove themselves in matches with recognized leaders. Egor Kolomiets, sports director of StarLadder, added that after the successful holding of StarLadder Major Belrin he had plans to hold a tournament in CS:GO with regional leagues - this is how the idea of Parimatch League arose. The organizers expect that the matches will attract a large audience of spectators from the CIS and Europe.
