Famous streamer Vyacheslav “Buster” Leontyev proved in practice that virtual objects can be used to purchase very real values. Right during the next broadcast, he demonstrated how he exchanged skins for a car. He explained that it was not immediately possible to find a seller who would agree to accept such a non-standard payment method: only the eighth of those to whom he approached with such a proposal ultimately agreed.
The total cost of the skins that Buster transferred to the seller was 3.4 million rubles. In exchange for them, he received a BMW M5 sports car. The market value of such a model is now somewhat less, however, by agreement between the streamer and the seller, service commissions were taken into account, since the new owner of the skins plans to cash them out. Among the items that Buster parted with are AWP Dragon Lore and AWP Gungnir, which are among the most expensive in the game.
Buster noted that he does not plan to keep the car. He does not rule out the possibility of pranking him or using him for some special filming. Thus, the deal that Buster made became one of the largest skin deals in the world. Although there have been cases of individual skins being sold for large sums, the successful conversion of rare cosmetic items into a car – quite a unique case.
