EXTREMEMUM coach has become a free agent

Alexander «kassad» Trifunovic, who served as coach of EXTREMUM, announced the end of his contract. Thus, he received free agent status just before the winter break, when many esports organizations are considering the possibility of roster changes.

Kassad joined EXTREMUM in early 2021 to work alongside players he previously coached in Renegades and 100 Thieves. However, this time he failed to achieve convincing results. In October, EXTREMUM sent its entire current roster to the reserves after an unsuccessful season, at the end of which it was unable to qualify for PGL Major Stockholm.

Commenting on his departure from EXTREMUM in his post on Twitter, kassad noted that he is still motivated to participate in competitions and hopes to return to the previous level after a disastrous year. Indeed, in 2019 its results were much more impressive – then the team he led twice reached the playoffs of the major and rose to fifth place in the world rankings.

Currently, kassad is engaged in analyzing matches and also participates in broadcasting IEM Winter, but it is unlikely that he will remain in this role for long. In his post, he mentions that he would welcome proposals from various organizations. Previously, he noted that he might be interested not only in the position of head coach, but also in the role of team manager.
