French eSports player Remy "XTQZZZ" Konem ends cooperation with Vitality. The latter recently announced this on her official Twitter. The departure of the French coach from the team did not come as a big surprise to those who followed its success: rumors that big changes awaited the team at the beginning of 2022 have been heard more than once. In particular, at the end of autumn there were suggestions that the French team could include three players who previously played for Astralis.
Despite the upcoming changes, Vitality continued to perform at a high level at the final major events of 2021 and successfully completed the season, entering the top three at IEM Winter, BLAST Premier Fall Final and BLAST Premier World Final.
After Vitality completed its last performance with its current lineup, one of its players Dan "apEX" Madeclair gave an interview during the official BLAST broadcast, in which he thanked XTQZZZ for his contribution to the development of the team. Remy “XTQZZZ” Konem began working with Vitality at the end of 2018, when its new lineup was just beginning its path to the top. Over the past three years, Vitality has won many major titles and twice appeared in first place in the world rankings.
