TSM plans to return to CS:GO in 2023

American esports organization TSM announced that it is returning to CS:GO after a six-year break, this time concentrating its efforts on performances in Europe.

TSM began its history in CS:GO in 2015. Its lineup at that time included such celebrities as Andreas "Xyp9x" Hoislet, Peter «dupreeh» Rasmussen and Nikolai "device" Ridtz. The team won several major titles in a row and in the same 2015 became first in the world rankings. After the mentioned participants moved to Astralis, TSM assembled a new roster of American e-sportsmen, but did not achieve noticeable success, and the project was closed a year later.

Commenting on the immediate plans, one of the TSM executives, Dominic Callas, noted that they are not going to “just go back and buy a squad from the top 5.” Instead, the organization plans to build the project from scratch, with a team that will be planned in Europe. Kallas explained that in the near future they will have to work on selecting players and creating infrastructure that will ensure the successful development of the team. TSM is also negotiating long-term partnerships with ESL and BLAST, so there is a possibility that next year the new TSM lineup can be seen at competitions from these series.
